James Hanson: Won't give up on play-offs

The Bantams must bounce back quickly from their Capital One Cup final disappointment at Wembley when Swansea ensured there was to be no fairytale ending to their unprecedented giant-killing run.

Swansea were too strong for Phil Parkinson's side and ran out record-breaking 5-0 winners, but Hanson insists Bradford will be ready for another stiff challenge as they bid to get their promotion hopes back on track against Dagenham tonight.

"It's going to be hard to put the Wembley disappointment quickly behind us," Hanson said.

"But at the same time the lads did ever so well to get so far in the Capital One Cup and we're still in with a chance of the play-offs.

"Hopefully we've got every incentive now to come back in May and lift a trophy then.

"Realistically we're going to have to put a really good run together if we're going to get that third spot.

"But the play-offs are definitely still up for grabs.

"We've got a couple of games in hand so if we can win those, who knows?"

Bradford are 11 points adrift of a play-off spot, but have four games in hand on seventh-placed Cheltenham.
