Is it true that you can get a really good deal on an A4 laminator at the Chelsea FC shop?

@footyfan52> The trophies has little to do with his quick trigger finger and more to do with the blank cheque book with which Chelsea operate in the transfer market. As City with the mediocre Mancini have shown, if given an unending pot of money to buy players even a mediocre manager will deliver trophies. But Roman not caring about the fans is true.Chelsea is his plaything. @Petulant_Radish> While I don't think Rafa is a great manager, he is quite good. Yes his last year with Pool was bad, but its not like they flew up the table once he left. What about Valencia when he beat the Spanish giants to the title with a fraction of their budget? Basically Rafa is a competent coach whose job has been made impossible by Chelsea fans and ridiculous expectations. @mhlgate13> Nothing wrong with plastic flags. It keeps getting brought up as Chelsea fans are so touchy about it. I mean even now so many of those muppets can't get over that statement of Rafa about those flags and boo him. A joke doesn't get old, when the guy being made fun of it still reacts to the joke.

Little plastic A4 banners with Rafa Out written on them might catch Abromovich's attention. He might listen to the fans.

It's all getting a bit bloody silly now. Yeah, we know Rafa isn't very good but for God's sake give the man a break. The baying mob which seems to have grown up around the guy, egged on,as ever by our highly moral and non-sensationalist press, is every bit as hateful as the one that the self same press have created around John Terry. Like most other CFC fans I wasn't exactly thrilled when he took over but it's symptomatic of what a basket case our club has become with RA calling the shots. It wasn't very nice what he said about us when he was the Liverpool manager but let's face it, the corporate / plastic flags are completely sh*t, the man had a point, and it's not like Jose didn't do the same back. I think when Benitez took over at Chelsea he naively saw an opportunity to re-establish himself as a top manager, perhaps not appreciating the level of antipathy felt towards him by the club's fans. That's kind of understandable, he was in Italy for a while and then out of work for however long it was. What isn't excusable is the hierarchy right upto RA being so out of touch with the supporters of the club they're supposed to be running that they offer him the job in the first place. People have short memories and hate mobs are ugly and disgusting things no matter who they're directed at. Give the bloke a break and get behind the team, he'll be gone at the end of the season. End of problem.

Abramovich's "strict policy"? What?! You mean his 'policy' of throwing more money than most of us can ever dream of having at the best players on the planet, then demanding the current manager wins everything they possibly can or they get the sack? Yeah, great policy. Winning trophies and titles is great sure .. winning them while others aren't laughing at you, or yelling at you that you "bought trophies/titles" is better though isn't it? The meddling of an egomaniac billionaire has bought Chelsea success, but also a massive loss of respect. Would I like my club to have billions to spend? It's nice in theory, but having seen what it does to a club, I'll go with a big fat "NO".

It was always annoying to see Abramovic's strict policy, his ridiculous high expectations and a quick trigger finger when a manager is slightly under performing, yet it has worked. You can't criticise the guy cause Chelsea have gotten themselves quite a few trophies since the takeover. I don't really know why the Chelsea fans are angry, do they not realise the owner doesn't give even remotely a f*** about them, never has, and never will. He wants trophies and success, nothing more, nothing less.

The timing is interesting. Is anyone else thinking that perhaps he's discovered the club have been sounding out a possible replacement already? He reacted in a similarly defensive way at Liverpool, when he discovered Hicks had held talks with Klinsman in November 2007.

He was doomed from the start. If he won things, people would have said he inherited a team from someone else, if they finish out of Champions League places then he is to blame. This might sound ludicrous but maybe, just maybe, Chelsea have not got a good enough team to mount a title challenge and there are 4 better teams in the country at the moment. That is definitely not Rafas fault! He obviously has flaws and is partly to blame but at some point the finger has to be pointed at the players! Id be surprised if anyone would take the job now!
