Prior, 24, has not enjoyed the best of times since moving to Kingsmeadow at the beginning of last year, having sustained a knee injury on his Dons debut before breaking his leg last April.

The player returned to action on December 29 but has only managed four substitute appearances for the League Two club.

Prior will be available for the Darts' league game against Barrow on Tuesday.

Before joining the Dons, Prior scored 95 goals in 121 appearances for Bognor Regis between 2009 and 2012.
