Danny Wilson: Not expecting to add to his squad

The loan transfer deadline is on Thursday at 5pm, but Wilson is happy with the players he has as the Blades look to secure automatic promotion.

"It's very unlikely that we'll be adding to the squad before close of play on Thursday, unless something unexpected happens in the next 24 hours," Wilson told a press conference ahead of Friday's game at Tranmere.

"With so many games coming up throughout April, time will fly by, we will just jump from game to game and before we blink again it will be the end of the season."

Wilson strengthened his squad with the additions of defender Danny Higginbotham, strikers Jamie Murphy and Jonathan Forte, plus midfielder Barry Robson during the January transfer window and has since signed Leeds forward Dominic Poleon on loan.

ah, Fergie is just having another pop at Rooney. He just wants to put him down whenever he gets a chance. Rooney is by far the best English player. Carrick is not far behind, mind. However, by elevating Carrick like that, Sir is having a dig at Wayne. Fergie is well-known for mind games like that. Good to see he's still feisty.
