Darren Ferguson: Peterborough boss takes positives from Middlesbrough draw

Darren Ferguson's men stay 23rd in the Championship but are now just one point from safety, having played a game more than 21st-placed Sheffield Wednesday.

The result halted Boro's four-match losing streak but still leaves Tony Mowbray's side six points adrift of the top six.

Ferguson said: "We weren't at our best, particularly in the first half, but once got to grips with it we did well.

"When not at your best, you have to battle away and we did. That's seven unbeaten now and another point so that's not to bad.

"They are a good team. It looks like their confidence has gone but that doesn't mean they have become a bad team. They played well and caused us problems but we dealt with them well.

"We'll find out at end of the season if that was a good point or not."

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
