Tony Pulis: Anxious to preserve his proud record

A poor run of form has seen the Potters dragged into a tussle for Premier League survival and they are now just three points above the drop zone.

Pulis believes the solution to their current struggles is not complicated - it requires hard work and rebuilding confidence.

"We have to keep working hard and believe," he said, quoted in the Daily Mirror.

"As a manager I'll keep fighting on. I have never been relegated as a manager but that's in the past.

"We have to look to the future and the important thing is getting the players' confidence together."
