Amond played his part with vital goals against Burton and Morecambe as Stanley secured their League Two status with a game to spare.

The striker, 25, is out of contract this summer and is enjoying life at the Store First Stadium.

He said: "My contract's up at the end of the season like a lot of the lads. There's two or three of the players who signed three-year deals last year.

"I'm enjoying it at Accrington. I really enjoy the club, there's a real family feel around the club.

"I am ambitious but you just don't know what's going to happen."
