Kurt Zouma: Intends to spend the 2013/14 campaign with St Etienne

The 18-year-old defender is among the most sought-after young talents in European football.

The France U20 international has excelled since breaking into the senior set-up at St Etienne and is said to be interesting the likes of Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, Anzhi Makhachkala and Wolfsburg.

Zouma is, however, in no rush to take on a new challenge and test himself outside of his homeland.

He is aware of the intense speculation surrounding his future, but insists there is nothing in it and that he will be staying at Stade Geoffrey-Guichard.

Zouma told Le Progres: "There was a lot of noise this summer about a transfer for me.

"I can only say one thing - I will be at St Etienne this season, for sure."
