Darren Ward: Happy to stay with Robins

The 34-year-old initially joined the Robins on loan before signing a permanent contract in January and is closing in on a half-century of appearances for the League One club.

"I'm delighted to have signed," he told STFC Player. "It's been going on for a while and we've been quite relaxed about it.

"It's been common knowledge that other clubs were interested, but under the circumstances and how happy I find myself here, I want to stay and I'm glad to have signed."
