Sweden came from behind to beat the Republic of Ireland 2-1 in Dublin

The Swedes are in second place behind Germany in Group C following their 2-1 win over the Republic of Ireland in Dublin on Friday.

Trailing to a Robbie Keane goal in the first half, Sweden hit back to claim all three points and move ahead of Austria, who lost 3-0 to Germany.

Sweden meet Kazakhstan on Tuesday before facing Austria and then Germany in their final two group fixtures next month.

"I feel we have it in our own hands," said Ibrahimovic.

"If we succeed in winning these two matches (against Kazakhstan and Austria), we will see if the last match against Germany is important."

Hamren added: "We knew it would be difficult and tough, therefore, it is nice to return home with three points.

"I am most pleased with the attitude. Unfortunately, we fall behind too often for my liking. I have been proud of the players many times, but especially on Friday."
