Robbie Findley: Amongst the goals for Salt Lake

Portland snatched a 14th minute lead when Will Johnson whipped in a free-kick, but Real turned it around before half-time with Chris Schuler heading in before Robbie Findley made it 2-1 in the 41st minute.

Devon Sandoval scored a third in the 48th minute and Salt Lake looked to have one foot in the MLS Cup final when Javier Morales scored in the 82nd minute.

But substitute Frederic Piquionne snatched one at the death to give the Timbers hope for the second leg on November 24.
