Tom Ince: Set to attract Premier League clubs

The 21-year-old, son of Seasiders boss Paul Ince, is out of contract this summer but, due to his age, the club are due compensation if he moves away from Bloomfield Road.

The England Under-21 international rejected a move to Cardiff prior to this season because he was keen to remain in the north-west region after just having his first child.

Blackpool accepted that significant bid but have not ruled out the possibility of Ince running down his contract and departing in the summer, while a new deal is also on the table should he wish to remain with his father's club.

"We get compensation if he goes abroad, but I think it's more likely a domestic club will make an offer in January," chairman Karl Oyston told BBC Radio Lancashire.

"It's down to Tom and his father whether we choose to sell or keep him until the end of his contract.

"We have offered him a new contract. It's very fluid, there's nothing definite and I certainly shall not start speculating. Who knows what will happen, but it's an interesting situation."

Ince has scored six goals in 18 appearances this season, three of which have come from the penalty spot.

alcao really needs to shine now. Apparently according to the stats, he scores more when played up front alone. I wonder if Van Gaal will actually apply a formation to get the best out of him though.
