Liam Lawrence: Penned a two-year deal

The 32-year-old midfielder has signed a two-year deal with the club after leaving Barnsley at the end of last season and brings a wealth of experience to a Shrewsbury side looking for an instant return to Sky Bet League One.

Lawrence came through the youth ranks at Mansfield before going on to play for Sunderland, Stoke, Portsmouth and Cardiff before a two-year stint in Greece with PAOK, which ended in January when he joined Barnsley.

He made 14 appearances for Barnsley as they were relegated to League One and has won 15 caps for the Republic of Ireland.
