Mathias Pogba: Determined to leave Gresty Road

The 23-year-old is currently in Italy discussing personal terms with Serie B side Pescara Calcio, after Crewe accepted a bid for the player on Saturday.

Pogba made 46 appearances for the club since joining from Wrexham in 2012, scoring 14 goals.

"The timing could have been better in regards to Mathias expressing a desire to move to Italy, but these things can happen in football," Davis told the official club website.

"Sometimes things come out of the blue like that and you just have to accept it and move on.

"I think we have improved him over the last couple of years and have made a healthy profit on him.

"We wish him all the best."
