The 19-year-old has moved to Highbury ahead of the Cod Army's first ever campaign in the third tier of English football, following their sixth promotion in 10 seasons last May.

Campbell made his Magpies debut two years ago this month as a substitute in a Europa League tie and went on to appear off the bench a further four times that season.

He has yet to start a game for Alan Pardew's men, though, and spent last season on loan with Scottish Premiership side St Mirren, scoring twice in 13 games.
