Simon Gillett: Could sign for Yeovil

A deal for the 28-year-old former Nottingham Forest midfielder looked dead in the water after he returned home last week having played in Yeovil friendlies against Reading and Bristol Rovers.

But Gillett, a free agent, hooked up with the Glovers again at the end of the week and opened the scoring in their friendly at Truro on Saturday.

"I'm pleased that we had Simon Gillett back for the moment and we will see what happens with him during the early part of the week," Johnson told the Western Gazette.
