The cash-strapped Championship club are willing to listen to offers for any of their players due to their ongoing financial concerns.

City have also said they have not received any bids for England U21 international goalkeeper Jack Butland, who has been linked with Newcastle, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Butland has intimated he has no interest in talking to Chelsea because he wants first team football - something he does not feel he would get at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking earlier, Birmingham boss Lee Clark said: "The only official bid the club have had for Jack is the one that was turned down in the summer from Southampton, just as I was taking the job.

"That's not to say we haven't had lots of interest in Jack and people asking the question.

"But, in terms of somebody actually putting down that they want to take him and what they're willing to pay, that hasn't materialised.

"With my football manager's head on, I don't want that to happen. But, in terms of the future of the club, it's been talked about already by the chairman that it probably needs to happen."

Birmingham have also knocked back a second bid from Nottingham Forest - believed to be around £500,000 for Chris Burke; Forest boss Alex Mcleish gave Burke his debut when they were both at Rangers in 2002.

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.
