The 20-year old only joined PSG from Pescara in the summer and he made his international debut for Italy in August's 2-1 loss to England.

Berlusconi has admitted regretting allowing Andrea Pirlo to leave in 2011 and he says that Verratti is a player that Milan are looking at.

"I shouldn't have left Pirlo go," he told Sport Mediaset. "But we now have Riccardo Montolivo."

"For the future, we are interested in Verratti. He is one of those players that we are examining, then we will see if there are conditions that make the deal possible."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
