Trio's Bayern exit talk denied

Hitzfeld, who was the last coach to lead Bayern Munich to the Champions League title in 2001, suggested that Robben, Thomas Muller and Toni Kroos may not feature in a side which will be coached by Pep Guardiola.

The Dutchman, according to Hitzfeld, is the most likely of the trio to pack his bags and leave before Guardiola arrives, but Hoeness has dismissed the notion.

"I really can't say how Ottmar Hitzfeld can have such thoughts," said Hoeness to the TZ newspaper.

Robben has also dismissed the suggestions he will look to leave the club, even though he has been in and out of the starting XI this season.

"I think it's a joke, people outside of the club don't know the plans," he told the Bild newspaper.

"I still have two years on my contract and we have a new era beginning next season and I'm looking forward to it."
