The Slovakia international has been at the club for over five-and-a-half seasons since signing from Brescia.

Hamsik, 25, has been in fine form this campaign scoring ten goals to help lift Walter Mazzarri's side into second position in the standings.

And the player insists he has no plans to walk away from the Partenopei any time soon.

He told Corriere dello Sport: "I have bought a house in Naples and I feel fine. My family are very happy here.

"I don't want to look too far into the future, but at the present time I am enjoying my life."

e was right to leave, but not just because of the money City were coming into. If I remember rightly he had a reasonable amount of chances to shine at City, but he never passed the bloody ball. Loads of aimless dribbles and 40 yard shots and not much else. I would say that if he had learnt to be a bit more of a team player he may have done better at City.
