The former Porto left-back has been linked with moves to a number of clubs this summer including Liverpool and Tottenham have been reported to be interested in the past.

Cissokho only joined Valencia last year after a spell with Lyon but says he was disappointed with his limited playing opportunities but insists he is happy at the cash-strapped club.

"Every player at the club is being linked with a move because of the financial situation at the club," he said.

"I have some clubs interested (in me) but I am happy here at Valencia.

"Under Pellegrino I played a lot, but I didn't play much under Valverde although I played in an important game in the Champions League (against PSG)."
