It's full time at Selhurst Park and it's a massive three points for Crystal Palace. It gives Tony Pulis' side a huge boost in their quest to remain in the Premier League. For West Brom and Pepe Mel, their lack of attacking threat in the first half ultimately cost them the game. Palace move up to 13th, whilst the Baggies drop into the relegation zone. A corner from West Brom is whipped into the six yard box and Ward's clearance rebounds off Berahino and nearly finds the net. A bizarre incident which represents West Brom's lack of fortune this afternoon.Morrison concedes a cheap free kick midway through West Brom's half. Jedinak attempts to catch out Foster with a quickly taken free kick, but is met easily from Foster.A short corner gives Ince the chance to cross in, but sends it high, wide and not very handsome. A rare error in a sparkling display from Ince.A lovely chipped ball finds Joel Ward, who surges down the byline and sees his cross deflect behind for a corner to Palace.A persistent run from Billy Jones gives him an opportunity on the corner of Palace's box. His shot is weak and falls into Speroni's grasp.Marouane Chamakh comes off for Jerome Thomas.CHANCE! Superb run by Anichebe who shrugs off two Palace defenders, but fires disappointingly over. It's not been the Nigerian's day today.Morrison is slipped through and attempts a low, curled finish which is met comfortably by Speroni.Corner hangs in the wind and is met by Chamakh who heads out for a WBA throw in.Thievy appeals for a penalty after slight contact from Parr, replays suggest the Frenchman lost his footing. Deflection gives WBA a corner.Chris Brunt scythes down Tom Ince with a late challenge. A textbook yellow card for the Northern Irish international.Anichebe's powerful run is dealt with by Joel Ward, whose clearance finds Berahino who takes on Dikgacoi and selfishly shoots from a near-impossible angle straight into Speroni's arms. There were better options there for the West Brom forward.Jonathan Parr comes on for Yannick Bolasie.WBA have continued their earlier pressure and are continually pumping balls into Palace's box, who are defending resolutely.Brunt plays a long ball over to Anichebe, whose effort is blocked by Dann and rebounds out for a corner. A lovely ball in from Brunt just evades McAuley. Palace clear.The goal comes against the run of play, with West Brom looking dangerous since the second half started. Palace looked confident on the counter attack though, and made West Brom pay for their missed chances.Glenn Murray receives a wonderful reception from the Palace fans, who comes on to replace Jason Puncheon. No red or yellow card, but a penalty for Palace.GREAT SAVE! Scott Sinclair finds himself five yards out with the whole goal to aim at, but Julian Speroni manages to pull off a superb low save to deny the ex-Swansea man. A highly entertaining match on show.CHANCE! Thievy breaks clear, but Delaney snuffs out the chance. The ball rebounds, however, to an onrushing James Morrison who smashes it from 25 yards out. Well saved by Speroni.Claudio Yacob picks up a yellow card for an earlier challenge on Jedinak.Ince attempts a cheeky header over Foster, who comfortably holds onto the ball.A thundering tackle, but a good one from McAuley on Ince sums up this half. A high tempo match kept in good spirits.Ince's cross causes a goalmouth scramble, and Billy Jones gets a vital toe away.Palace launch a counter attack through Tom Ince, who plays through Bolasie. The Congolese man's heavy touch causes him to scuff in a cross, but a corner is eventually awarded.Palace have done well to restrict the amount of chances Albion have had in the last five minutes, with the Baggies domination beginning to waiver.Tom Ince bursts into West Brom's box but McAuley manages to get across and sweep away Ince's advances. This game could go either way and the next goal is extremely vital.West Brom attempt a counter attack themselves, with Billy Jones finding Anichebe whose cross deflects off Dann and back onto the Nigerian, and the ball dribbles out of play. Anichebe looks much more comfortable with a strike partner.Palace try and calm the game down by lowering the tempo of their passing. Puncheon and Ince still look threatening on the counter attack.Palace are camped in their own half as the West Brom centre backs push up and provide ammunition for Brunt and Morrison, who try and find an opening for Anichebe and Thievy.Billy Jones gets down the byline and attempts a driven cross which is just about cleared from Palace. The introduction of Thievy has completely changed the dynamic of the game.Brunt hits the resulting free kick low towards the Palace box and the Baggies try and scramble the ball back. Eventually Palace clear. Nervy times for Pulis' defenders. Whatever Mel has said at half time has worked a treat.West Brom win a freekick after a clumsy challenge from Jedinak on Morrison.Thievy concedes a freekick in the centre-circle. A long ball is hit up towards Chamakh who knocks down to Puncheon, who slices his effort wide. A very open game.West Brom have been fired up by that goal. A definite spring in the step of the Baggies. Superb response by the visiting side.Thievy scores with his first touch for West Brom! Anichebe, on the wing, plays a lovely ball back to Thievy who fires in an unstoppable finish to score yet another debut goal in this match. Game on at Selhurst Park. 2-1. Debut goals from Tom Ince and Joe Ledley give the Eagles a deserved 2-0 lead at half time. Brunt whips it in towards McAuley, who over hits his cross and goes out of play. A free kick is delivered into the box, which is temporarily cleared to Mulumbu who attempts a curled shot. Deflection results in a WBA corner.Lovely skill from Puncheon results in a frustrated Chris Brunt giving away a free kick on the half way line. The Palace man has looked very impressive.Billy Jones yellow carded for a strong challenge on Tom Ince.A few wayward passes from either side as the game becomes a bit scrappy.A temporary break in play after McAuley clashes with Chamakh, with the Moroccan getting a blow to his head. Physios on the pitch, but he should be fine.A decent spell sees West Brom get another corner. McAuley almost gets his head on the resulting corner, but is eventually cleared by Palace.Morrison hits the free kick low, and it deflects into the hands of the onrushing Julian Speroni.Chris Brunt gets a shot away, but is high and wide. However, Foy says Morrison was fouled in the build-up giving West Brom a great free kick chances from 25 yards.West Brom have had two-thirds of the possession, but find themselves 2-0 down. Clinical finishing the difference here at Selhurst Park.Chamakh dinks through a delicious ball to Ince, but Foster meets the ball just before the on-loan winger could get there and undoubtedly score his second goal.West Brom's efforts so far are summed up by a poor Mulumbu effort. The midfielder has time but opts to shoot from 25 yards, and sees his effort trickle wide harmlessly.Another debut goal! A beautifully whipped in corner from Ince is met by a totally unmarked Joe Ledley. His first goal for Palace comes as a result of some horrendous marking.Palace win a freekick in WBA's half. Ince's delivery is met by Yacob who heads over for a Palace corner.A deep corner is met by McAuley, who heads the ball to Dawson who volleys way over.Some nice wing-play by Morrison, who tees up Ridgewell. His cross is met by Dikgacoi. Corner for West Brom.West Brom seem to be struggling playing against the wind. Speroni is relishing the opportunity to fire in plenty of long, direct balls to Chamakh.Brunt fires the ball in low and it is dealt with easily by Palace's defence. A frustrating opening 20 minutes for the Baggies summed up.Anichebe is wrestled to the ground on the edge of Palace's box. Freekick. Great opportunity for Chris Brunt here.Puncheon is in confident mood and uses his skill to set up Chamakh on the edge of the box, who fails to find an opening and the attack dies out.Bolasie wins a freekick deep in Palace's own half.Ince has looked dangerous and has his efforts rewarded with a fine goal. Bolasie goes to ground at the edge of the box, and the ball spills to Ince who flicks the ball over the onrushing Foster to get a vital debut goal.CHANCE! Trickery from Puncheon on the right wing gives him time to whip up in a cross. Header from Bolasie is met comfortably by Foster.West Brom show their passing game, by stringing together several passes in the middle of the pitch. Looking lightweight upfront however, with Anichebe up there by himself.Palace's Puncheon and Ince look threatening on the wings, fortunately for West Brom - Ridgewell and Jones are managing to deal with them so far.Jedinak clumsily clatters into Mulumbu, who falls to the ground and is currently receiving treatment from the physios.CHANCE! Corner is swung in and met by debutant Scott Dann, who sees his attempt chested off the line by Mulumbu. First big chance for Palace.Neat ball through to Chamakh is well covered by Gareth McAuley, who ushers the ball out for a corner.CHANCE! Superb ball from Chris Brunt finds Anichebe, whose scuffed shot falls harmlessly into Speroni's arms. Poor miss by the Nigerian who was through on goal. A great chance for West Brom.Ince fouled midway through the West Brom half. The England U21 international looks sharp. Ince then swings in the resulting freekick, which is overhit and goes straight out of play.Great tackle on the edge of the box by Liam Ridgewell ensures Jason Puncheon cannot get a shot on goal. Positive start by Palace.Tom Ince gets the ball on the wing after a Chamakh flick on, attempts to take on Claudio Yacob who successfully ushers the ball out for a WBA goal kick.
