Alvaro Pereira's agent has admitted that he is set to hold talks with Porto over his client's future.

The 26-year-old was a target for Chelsea last summer, but their bid was rejected and the player subsequently signed a new five-year deal.

But Chelsea's interest has remained and Paris Saint Germain are also thought to be keen on a move for the South American.

Now Pereira's agent says he will hold talks with Porto this week.

Alejandro Savich told the Record: "I have not spoken with any club, but it is possible that contacts exist with Porto.

"Now I am in Portugal and I will attend a meeting this week with the Porto directors to know about the future of Alvaro."
