Maxi Lopez: Hoping for AC Milan move

Catania forward Maxi Lopez has not given up hope of joining AC Milan on a permanent basis this summer.

The Argentinian forward arrived at the San Siro outfit on loan in January.

Milan can buy the 28-year-old's full rights for 8million euros and the Rossoneri have until next month to exercise that option.

"I really looked forward to wearing these colours and I've tried to do my best," Lopez said to Gazzetta dello Sport. "I've always been available when the coach needed me.

"Now there are a few days, the two clubs will speak and we hope everything will be done.

"I've felt really well at Milan and I know I can give a lot more.

"I want to play for this club and I'm not thinking of anything else."

Lopez scored two goals in 10 league appearances for Milan.
