Luis Suarez: Claims he is happy at Anfield

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has poured cold water on speculation linking him with a move to Serie A champions Juventus.

Suarez - who has netted 39 goals in 69 appearances for the Reds since his move from Ajax in January 2011 - could be a January target for The Old Lady.

The player is valued at £28million and with the Italian giants having qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League, the opportunity may be too good to turn down for the Uruguayan.

However, despite the Reds hitman acknowledging the interest from Bianconeri boss Antonio Conte, Suarez insists he is happy at Anfield.

"Serie A is very nice and a competitive league with great teams and great players," Suarez told Mediaset after Liverpool's victory against Udinese in the Europa League.

"I know (Conte wants me at Juventus) because it's been talked about quite a lot and I always read a lot of stories in the newspapers.

"But I'm very happy at Liverpool. It is a club where many people would like to play."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.
