Paul Lambert's Villa are struggling at the back

Aston Villa v Ipswich (CH)

Aston Villa will put their Premier League problems to one side this weekend as they host Championship strugglers Ipswich but recent form suggests they'll struggle to keep a clean sheet.

Paul Lambert's men have conceded 17 goals in their last four games since their impressive 3-1 victory at Liverpool but at least the 2-2 draw with Swansea last time out shows they've rediscovered their scoring touch.

Ipswich's revival under Mick McCarthy - which had seen them win seven of his first 13 games in charge - came to a halt with a New Year's Day defeat to Brighton but new signings David McGoldrick and Aaron Mclean will give the Tractor Boys options up front alongside Michael Chopra.

Crystal Palace v Stoke (CH)

Although Crystal Palace's priority is promotion rather than causing FA Cup shocks this season, the Championship high-flyers will be confident of at least finding the net again this weekend having done so in each of their last seven games.

The Eagles are in fact their division's highest scoring side with 50 in 26 league games but they will admittedly find it tougher against the Premier League's third tightest defence.

That said, Stoke have shipped six goals in their last two games - including three at home to Southampton - and manager Tony Pulis is expected to make several changes for this clash.

Crawley v Reading (DJ)

This has the potential to be one of the day's upsets and the pair are fancied to put on a good show for the supporters.

Crawley have already enjoyed some success this season in Cup competitions and in Billy Clarke they have a striker who is more than capable of taking advantage of Reading's shaky back line.

The Royals have been involved in some ridiculously high-scoring games this season against the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United and as likely as they are to concede, they can make an impact in front of goal as well.

The bottom line is that I would be amazed if this one were to end without both finding the target at some stage in proceedings.
