Gianfranco Zola's Watford look a big price to win at Birmingham

Craig Chisnall has racked up profits in the Championship and League One over the last two weeks. This week he's keen on Watford.

I can barely believe Watford's price on offer ahead of their trip to Birmingham this weekend - the Hornets are a whopping 13/8 to win at St Andrew's.

Along with runaway leaders Cardiff, Gianfranco Zola's side have won eight times on the road already, scoring a divisional-best 32 goals in the process.

I've had a lot of joy in backing them on their travels this term and will be hoping for another return here.

Birmingham have improved of late and haven't lost in five to move clear of danger but this price is simply too good to ignore.

Crystal Palace's promotion charge had almost ground to a halt in recent months but I get the feeling their 2-2 draw at Watford last weekend could be just what they needed.

The Eagles were 2-0 down inside 14 minutes at Vicarage Road and staring at another defeat.

But buoyed by the second-half introduction of golden oldie Kevin Phillips, an astute acquisition from Blackpool recently, they roared back to snatch a point and almost took all three.

With the threat of Phillips taking the goalscoring weight off the shoulders of Glenn Murray, the Eagles will fancy their chances of seeing off Boro, who had had a thoroughly miserable start to 2013 until Tuesday night when they beat Leeds 1-0.

But I can't see them getting anything at Selhurst Park and Ian Holloway's side are 11/10 with Coral and BetVictor and worthy of investment.

If Derby could only take their home form on the road with them they would also be in the mix for promotion - fortunately for the Rams they are back at Pride Park this weekend.

They let a two-goal lead slip at Sheffield Wednesday last week and then lost 2-1 at Hull on Tuesday night.

But they have already won eight times at home, last time out Huddersfield were emphatically seen off 3-0, and Wolves will hardly relish this trip.

They have yet to win this year and under new boss Dean Saunders and are in grave danger of a second successive relegation.

With teams beneath them in great form, they are only out of the bottom three on goal difference. Everything points to a home win and the 21/20 on offer by Sky Bet and Coral should be pounced upon.

In League One, take leaders Tranmere to get the weekend off to a good start by beating Shrewsbury on Friday night and I suggest doubling them up with Sheffield United seeing off Colchester a day later.

Rovers have lost their last two - to Carlisle and Leyton Orient - and boss Ronnie Moore has promised changes for this clash.

The Shrews don't travel well though having won just twice away from home so the 5/6 on the home win is worth investing in.

The Blades did us a favour by winning at Shrewsbury last weekend and followed it up by beating Bury on Tuesday night.

The visit of Colchester will hardly worry them despite the U's having won three of their four matches following a woeful run.

I always felt Danny Wilson's men would come good this season so take the 4/6 on them and put it alongside Rovers.

I

think all those names linked to United exits make sense. Kagawa has never really looked like hitting the form he had at Dortmund and Fellaini is radioactive after last season (even though I think he's been unfairly singled out for criticism). Nani and Anderson have had more than their fair share of chances so they are done, and Hernandez deserves better than warming a bench.
