Demba Ba: Hopeful he can achieve great things at Chelsea

Demba Ba has sent out a firm warning to Chelsea's hierarchy that he won't allow anybody to push him around - even if they decide to bring in a new striker this summer.

The 27-year-old Senegal international has failed to hold down a regular role in Rafa Benitez's starting XI since joining the Stamford Bridge club in January from Newcastle.

But Ba is determined to force his way into the manager's plans, even if it means no place in the side for £50million man Fernando Torres.

He told radio station RMS: "I am at one of the biggest clubs in Europe and each year, they're going to bring in a forward.

"But that is part of football and that is what makes me a better player if you go about things the right way.

"I am always working hard and I know that I can achieve great things. If they buy a new striker, it'll help me improve. But I won't let anybody walk all over me."

s it the same people that complain about Chelsea that complain about Mayweather? You should by now know what to expect from both, if you can't appreciate how good they are at nullifying their opponents then don't watch them.

do concede though, that getting rid of Luiz has made them less entertaining. In the same way that driving with both eyes open is less exciting, but probably a good idea.
