Jonas Olsson: Happy to have signed his latest contract

West Brom defender Jonas Olsson insists he is happy at West Brom despite having a summer get-out clause in the four-year contract he signed earlier this season.

The Baggies rejected a bid, believed to be around £5 million, for Olsson from QPR during the January transfer window.

Albion head coach Steve Clarke then revealed six specified clubs can trigger the get-out clause if they pay an agreed fee for Olsson.

But the Swedish international remains committed to the Baggies who he joined five years ago.

The 29-year-old said: "I don't like to speak about what is in my contract. It's confidential.

"But I made it clear that I am happy here when I signed for four years in September. I think that says it all.

"As I've said before, as a player you set goals with a team and as an individual and you always want to push higher in your career. I am no different to anyone else.

"I have dreams and ambitions to achieve - but I am very happy at the club and happy with what we have achieved this year and hopefully will achieve towards the end of the season."

Olsson has formed a solid partnership with Gareth McAuley who is in discussions about a new contract. He has 15 months to run of his current deal.
