Nyatanga: Wales call

Wales boss Chris Coleman has added Lewin Nyatanga to his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Scotland and Croatia.

Coleman was hit by the withdrawals of Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen and Leeds striker Steve Morison due to injury over the weekend, with forward Jermaine Easter the only immediate replacement.

But the FAW confirmed Bristol City defender Nyatanga, 24, will be given the opportunity to add to his 34 caps in a game where Wales are looking to build on their encouraging win over Austria last month in the qualifying double-header.

Coleman's men are seven points adrift of Group A pacesetters Croatia and Belgium and face an uphill battle if they are to end their long wait for a place at a major finals.

arish is the man to blame for this shambles. Pulis must be chuckling into his left over turkey sandwich. I pray this doesn't mean the Neil Warnock media machine will kick in now and he'll be back on the telly box.

e almost found a new way to lose, just when I thought it was getting boring Giroud does that. Although Arsenal are deservedly called 'soft' the entire midfield is out injured. Still must admit MU are managing to win despite a similar raft of absentees. Think the Gunners have good players but poorly coached.
