Brian McDermott: Heads the betting in the next Leeds manager market

Brian McDermott has been installed as Sky Bet's early favourite to be the next Leeds manager following Neil Warnock's departure.

With Warnock's exit expected this summer, the online bookmaker already had a market available on his successor, with the former Reading boss heading the market.

Confirmation of the 64-year-old's departure was followed by early support for McDermott, who is now as short as 11/10.

Sky Bet Football Trader Chris Spicer said: "McDermott had already been touted as the ideal replacement, having led Reading to promotion last season."

Gus Poyet is second favourite at 5/1, Owen Coyle 9/1 and former Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill 12/1.
