Cheikhou Kouyate: Admits Arsenal have been interested in the past

The Senegal international has revealed that he will be leaving his Belgian employers at the end of the season.

A switch to Arsenal has been mooted, with the Gunners known to have held an interest in his services in the past.

Kouyate is reluctant to speculate on where he will be playing in 2013/14, but admits a Premier League opportunity would appeal.

He said: "I like Arsenal because they play good football. There have been enquiries before, but nothing happened.

"I do not want to say where I am going, but this will be my last season with Anderlecht.

"Until I leave, I will continue to give 100 per cent."

Borussia Dortmund, Zenit St Petersburg and Anzhi Makhachkala are also said to be keeping a close eye on the 23-year-old centre-half.
