Chelsea were too good for Hull on Sunday afternoon

Chelsea are Sky Bet's favourites for the 2013/14 Premier League title after starting their season with a 2-0 win over Hull on Sunday.

Jose Mourinho's side are top-four betting where Andre-Villas' Boas' side are now 11/8.

Roberto Soldado netted for Spurs from the penalty spot on his Premier League debut - following Robin van Persie in handing Sky Bet punters a winning price-boost after the Spaniard was offered at an enhanced 5/1 to open the scoring - and he's now 14/1 fourth favourite in the top goalscorer betting.

Tottenham's victory over Crystal Palace also made it three wins from three for BettingZone followers after West Ham's defeat of Cardiff and Liverpool's win to nil against Stoke.

Sunday's defeats for Crystal Palace and Hull may have come against two of the division's heavyweights but have still seen the pair harden for relegation. Palace are 2/5 for the drop with Hull 8/13. The third promoted side, Cardiff, are next in the betting at 11/8.

Palace are 2/1 to finish bottom, with Hull 10/3.
