Mladen Petric: One-year deal at Upton Park

West Ham have confirmed the signing of striker Mladen Petric as manager Sam Allardyce looks to bolster his attacking options.

The 32-year-old Croatia international will stay at Upton Park until the end of the season following his departure from Premier League rivals Fulham at the end of last campaign.

Allardyce had only Modibo Maiga and Ricardo Vaz Te fit at the moment after Andy Carroll suffered a setback in his return from a heel injury which has prevented him from making an appearance for the Hammers since completing a permanent transfer from Liverpool.
