Ramires: The midfielder has hinted at a return to Portugal

Chelsea midfielder Ramires has told a press conference that he would like to return to his old club Benfica in the future.

The Brazilian, who signed for the Blues in 2010 from the Portuguese giants, has settled in well to life at Stamford Bridge.

But, ahead of Brazil's international friendly against Portugal in Foxborough, the 26-year-old revealed he would like to one day play his football at the Estadio da Luz again.

"Football is full of surprises and I would like to return one day," Ramires told a press conference.

"Benfica have a great team with a great history, a great manager. They have only been lacking titles recently.

"I've still got a tremendous amount of affection for Benfica, not just because they opened the door to Europe for me but because of all the things I experienced there, how they welcomed me and how well everything turned out. I can only thank the club."
