Rhodes celebrates his equaliser for Blackburn

A review of Saturday's action in the Sky Bet Championship.

Burnley's strong start to the season suffered a setback after a late Jordan Rhodes effort earned Blackburn a 1-1 draw in the east Lancashire derby at Turf Moor.

Junior Stanislas had put the home side in front in the 75th minute but Rhodes ricocheted home a fortunate leveller before Blackburn's Lee Williamson was sent off in injury time.

Neal Bishop's 48th-minute winner maintained 10-man Blackpool's unbeaten record with a 2-1 win over Bournemouth at Dean Court.

The visitors shrugged off the 58th-minute dismissal of Jack Robinson for a second bookable offence to hang on for their fifth win from six league games this season.

Ricardo Fuller's seventh-minute header gave the Tangerines a dream start but Lewis Grabban's fifth goal of the season for Bournemouth five minutes later had levelled the scores.

QPR kept pace at the top of the table after surviving a couple of early scares to beat struggling Birmingham 1-0 at Loftus Road.

Lee Novak headed against the post and Andrew Shinnie hit an easy chance over the bar for the Blues, and Lee Clark's men were made to pay when Charlie Austin headed the winner from a Joey Barton free-kick four minutes after the break.

Nottingham Forest moved up to third place with a thrilling 3-2 win over Barnsley at the City Ground.

Forest twice led through Simon Cox and a Kelvin Etuhu own goal, but were hauled back first by a Chris O'Grady penalty then a 69th-minute effort from Tomasz Cywka for the visitors.

But Darius Henderson popped up to grab the 84th-minute winner for Forest when he headed home a Djamel Abdoun corner.

Liam Moore's early header and an 81st-minute penalty from David Nugent proved enough to ease Leicester up to fourth in the table with a 2-0 win over Wigan at the King Power Stadium.

And Luke Varney's sixth-minute header gave improving Leeds a 1-0 win over Bolton at the Reebok Stadium, a result which confirmed a worst league start in 50 years for Dougie Freedman's men.

Bolton still moved off the foot of the table on goal difference after fellow strugglers Millwall were hammered 5-1 at home by Derby.

Jake Buxton and Craig Bryson gave the visitors a 2-0 half-time lead and the Lions' chances were effectively ended when Shane Lowry was sent off six minutes into the second half.

Bryson grabbed his second in the 57th minute and although Martyn Waghorn briefly reduced the deficit, Bryson completed his hat-trick and substitute Mason Bennett grabbed Derby's fifth late on.

David McGoldrick scored twice as Ipswich hit back from behind to beat Middlesbrough 3-1 at Portman Road.

Albert Adomah had given Boro an early lead but McGoldrick equalised on 34 and Luke Chambers put the Tractor Boys ahead early in the second half. McGoldrick wrapped up victory in injury time.

Struggling Yeovil grabbed a valuable point against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough despite playing the entire second half with 10 men.

Wednesday led through Atdhe Nuhiu's 24th-minute strike and the visitors had Byron Webster sent off four minutes before the break, but still came back to equalise in the 64th minute through Joe Ralls.

Daniel Pudil salvaged a point for Watford in a 1-1 home draw with Charlton, who had led through a Yann Kermogant penalty, while the Yorkshire derby between Huddersfield and Doncaster ended goalless.

put Ince in my fantasy football team, so it's no surprise at all really. I do that to players. Also responsible for De Jong and Upson being injured. Think I'll transfer in Di Maria just to ruin United....
