Chelsea have booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League and remain 14/1 chances with Sky Bet for the competition.

Jose Mourinho's side slipped up 1-0 at Swiss champions Basle but will progress to the knockout phase from Group E.

Arsenal saw their odds cut two points into 14s by Sky Bet after they saw off Marseille 2-0 to move on to 12 points in Group F.

They are three points clear of Napoli and Borussia Dortmund, with the latter also shortening into 14s from 16s while Atletico Madrid are 16s (from 18s) at Sky Bet after a 1-1 draw with Zenit St Petersburg.

Chelsea's defeat in Switzerland and a shock loss for Barcelona at Ajax left the layers smiling as a number of underdogs managed to come out on top.

The Spanish giants are 9/2 in the outright betting with Bayern Munich 5/2 favourites for a repeat of May's triumph ahead of Wednesday's match at CSKA Moscow.

Sky Bet's Sandro Di Michele said: "It was a great night for the bookmakers as several favourites slipped up in the Champions League.

"Chelsea were the most popular multiple selection amongst Sky Bet punters tonight with Barcelona and Porto not far behind."

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
