We're only just getting used to the fact it's December and Manchester United are a 20/1 chance to win the Barclays Premier League.

The Red Devils - champions last year in a canter - are now 12 points behind leaders Arsenal following Wednesday's results that included a 2-0 win for the Gunners over Hull and a 1-0 victory for Everton at Old Trafford.

David Moyes, who couldn't achieve an Everton win at Manchester United during his Goodison tenure, continued his woeful record in the fixture thanks to Bryan Oviedo's 86th-minute winner.

Sky Bet go 20/1 about United with Arsenal the 9/4 second-favourites.

Nicklas Bendtner started his first league game for Arsenal since May 2011, but it took him just two minutes to find the net. Mesut Ozil repeated the quickness trick in the second half and they were the only goals.

Manchester City are 6/4 favourites to win the league after their 3-2 win at West Brom, two late goals from the home side failing to reel in Manuel Pellegrini's side.

They remain third in the league, two points behind Chelsea who were themselves involved in a high-scoring away clash, the Blues recording a 4-3 victory at Sunderland.

Jose Mourinho's side are 3/1 chances to win another league title.

Luis Suarez smashed four in against Norwich in a 5-1 rout at Anfield and Liverpool are 11/1 chances in the title betting at Sky Bet.

Spurs are 50/1 in the same market despite keeping in touch with a vital 2-1 win away at Fulham.

Sandro di Michele, Head of Trading at Sky Bet, said: "It wasn't looking a great night with Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City doing things very easily and they were the most popular teams in the multiples.

"Luis Suarez to score a hat-trick was very popular too given his record against Norwich, but Everton - and Aston Villa to an extent - tilted things in our favour.

"Not for the first time this season Manchester United's poor form has saved us some monster payouts and we'll be toasting David Moyes tonight."
