SPORTING LIFE ACCUMULATOR

Man City, Newcastle, Leeds and Brentford all to win at 18/1 with Sky Bet.

Man City to beat Liverpool (Barclays Premier League)

Liverpool flying high at the top of the table but expected to be brought down to Earth with a bump at the Etihad.

Newcastle to beat Stoke (Barclays Premier League)

Alan Pardew's Newcastle are enjoying a rich vein of form and should prove too strong for a Stoke side struggling for consistency.

Leeds to beat Blackpool (Sky Bet Championship)

Blackpool have lost four on the bounce and Leeds can inflict more damage when they travel to Bloomfield Road.

Brentford to beat Swindon (Sky Bet League 1)

Brentford have reacted really positively since losing Uwe Rosler and will be buoyant after their 3-0 weekend win over fellow promotion hopefuls Preston..

GOING FOR GOALS

Both teams to score in Norwich v Fulham, Huddersfield v Derby, Middlesbrough v Burnley and Wolves v Crewe at 8.49/1 with Sky Bet.

Norwich v Fulham

Struggling Fulham are at least scoring goals under new boss Rene Meulensteen while Norwich have netted in each of their last three home games.

Huddersfield v Derby

Huddersfield will be eager to return to winning ways over the festive period after a recent slump but Derby arrive at the John Smith's Stadium on the back of seven straight victories.

Middlesbrough v Burnley

Middlesbrough and Burnley are both among the highest scoring teams in the Sky Bet Championship so you'd expect more goals to flow at the Riverside.

Wolves v Crewe

Crewe have started to turn their season around in recent weeks and will fancy their chances of at least finding the net against stuttering Wolves, who conceded three last time out.

Yes some elements of their fanbase can be a bit OTT, yes they're our biggest rivals and yes it will make our poor season feel even more like the end of an era (Fergie's gone, Liverpool are back on top). However I just have to applaud Brendan Rodgers and the way he's turned Liverpool around in just a couple of seasons. It...

H

ooray! We are all excited now, we beat a very mediocre team! With all due respect to WHU supporters, not winning that game shouldn't even be a consideration. This is the problem, there is no winning mentality at the Emirates - we're all congratulating ourselves beating a team that we have a winning record against.

I

s this meant to be an aspiration for United supporters? Moyes mediocrity strikes again. I see the Bayern boys don't want to sign for him, and his reputation amongst the senior European coaches make other key signings unlikely.
