A review of Saturday's action in the Scottish Premiership.

Fraser Forster set a new Scottish top-flight clean sheet record as Celtic continued their winning streak with a 2-0 victory over Hearts at Tynecastle.

The England goalkeeper broke Bobby Clark's previous record of 1,155 minutes without conceding a league goal before Leigh Griffiths scored his first Celtic goal to seal a 15th consecutive Scottish Premiership triumph.

The former Hibernian striker and boyhood fan celebrated emphatically after finishing impressively on a 57th-minute counter-attack.

That goal proved enough although Teemu Pukki doubled the lead with the last kick of the match.

Partick Thistle finally buried the hoodoo of failing to earn a victory on their own patch this campaign with an impressive win over in-form Aberdeen thanks to a second-half goal blitz.

Strikes from Conrad Balatoni and a double from Lyle Taylor sunk the visitors after a goalless first half in which Barry Robson saw his penalty saved.

Hibernian dominated large spells of the match at Kilmarnock but failed to get the victory which would have lifted them into the top six.

Terry Butcher's men had to come from behind to draw 1-1 after Rory McKenzie had given Kilmarnock a first half lead.

But after Danny Haynes grabbed the equaliser early in the second half the Easter Road side had plenty of chances to claim their third win of the season over the Rugby Park side.

Melvin De Leeuw came off the bench to hit the winner for Ross County in an entertaining match against St Mirren at Global Energy Stadium.

Yoann Arquin gave County a deserved lead in the 38th minute but John McGinn levelled midway through the second half.

With seven minutes left on the clock De Leeuw tucked away an Arquin cut-back to make it 2-1 and earn County all three points.

The result meant County climbed ahead of their visitors in the standings, nudging up a place to ninth.

A first-half header from defender Garry Warren earned Inverness only their third Scottish Premiership victory of manager John Hughes' reign as they beat St Johnstone 1-0.

The Highlanders deservedly struck four minutes from the break and held fast during a more even second half to claim the 1-0 win that ensured they kept pace with Dundee United in fourth place above them on goal difference.

Caley have reached the League Cup final and the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup in recent weeks but have seen their Premiership campaign stutter, with just two victories arriving since Hughes took over from predecessor Terry Butcher in December.

However, guided on the pitch by the stoical skipper Richie Foran, Inverness were well worthy of their three points against a lacklustre St Johnstone side who saw defender Frazer Wright taken off on a stretcher eight minutes from the break.

ou can't blame De Gea for wanting to leave, he has enough to do in front of goal as it is as well as taking on the role of Man Utd's version of Derek Acorah in trying to contact and organise a defence that isn't there.

f you want to take six points off Arsenal, then that's a great strike force. Can't imagine either of them showing much for the rest of the season though...
