Arsene Wenger: Yet to agree an extension to his current contract

It remains to be seen how much longer Wenger will remain at the Emirates Stadium helm, as talk of a new contract is yet to see pen put to paper.

When the Gunners were flying high and pushing for major honours at home and abroad, an extension to his current terms appeared to be a formality.

Arsenal have, however, tumbled out of the Champions League and slipped seven points adrift in the Premier League title race.

The FA Cup is still there to be shot at - allowing the club to end their nine-year wait for silverware - but it is now being suggested that Wenger will wait until the summer before deciding what his next move will be.

Szczesny is convinced that the Frenchman will agree to stay on in north London, and will be backed by everyone associated with the club, with the vastly-experienced coach still very much the right man for the job.

The Polish goalkeeper said in the Daily Telegraph: "I don't have any doubts about his future.

"The boss has been around for so long, had so much experience, I'm sure he's been through times much worse.

"We believe in him, he believes in us and I'm sure he'll work for a long time."
