Gareth Southgate has named Tottenham's Zeki Fryers and James Ward-Prowse of Southampton in his first squad since being appointed as England Under-21s head coach.
Southgate has named a 25-man squad for the upcoming European Championship qualifying double-header which begins against Moldova in Reading on September 5 before travelling to Finland four days later.
Fryers is called up for the first time having previously represented England at U16, U17 and U19 levels, while Ward-Prowse has been rewarded for his impressive early performances for Saints.
Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell has also been named in the Under-21s squad for the first time since November last year.
Powell's fellow United player, Wilfried Zaha, is also included, as is Jesse Lingard.
