Park Chu-Young: Could leave Arsenal

Arsenal striker Park Chu-Young has revealed he is considering leaving the Emirates Stadium following a lack of first-team action.

The South Korea captain has made just five appearances for the club this campaign with Robin van Persie, Marouane Chamakh and on-loan Thierry Henry being preferred.

Park, 26, started three games in the Carling Cup as well as a UEFA Champions League start but a lone Premier League substitution has frustrated the frontman.

Despite previously declaring his ambition to fight for a place in the side Park's agent admits the international may have no choice but to look for first-team football elsewhere.

"If the current state continues, we will have to look at the transfer market in the summer," he said.

The January transfer window was surrounded by speculation and it was claimed that London rivals Fulham made an attempt to loan the striker, who made the switch to the Emirates last summer, but Park's agent believes there was no official approach made.

"In the English media, it was reported that Arsenal had rejected a loan offer for Park.

"However, this was in contrast to what we heard from Arsenal. There was no loan offer during the transfer window."

Park scored 25 goals in a three-year spell at Monaco in the French Ligue 1 despite his side being relegated last season but has managed to net only one league cup goal since completing his transfer.

here has only been 3 players who made me hold my breath in dread when they picked the ball up anywhere near our penalty area...in their prime Scholes and Giggs... and always Drogba. Awesome player who on his day was the best striker in the world in my opinion.

I

remember him scoring a 25-yarder, either the season just gone or the one before, against Bolton at the Reebok. I've never seen a ball hit that hard before in my entire life. You could almost feel the shockwave from his foot contacting it 40 yards away in the stands. Didier Droga. You might not have loved him, but you just had to be in awe of him.

den Hazard, def. - 1) that girl in a club who makes eyes at you all night, who allows you to buy her a drink and walk her home arm in arm, who then gives you a suggestive kiss on her doorstep before declaring how tired she is and how she has to be up early the next day. 2) A cock tease.
