Victor Moses: Linked with a move to Everton

New Everton manager Roberto Martinez has made another signing from former club Wigan with the appointment of Dennis Lawrence as first-team development coach.

The former Trinidad and Tobago international has been appointed to assist under-21 manager Alan Stubbs.

Lawrence, who also worked under Martinez at Swansea and Wigan, will be involved in ensuring information is filtered down to coaches throughout the academy set-up.

Martinez has already signed striker Arouna Kone, defender Antolin Alcaraz and goalkeeper Joel Robles - who all played under him at the DW Stadium - as well as four Latics backroom staff.

The Spaniard is also being linked with a move for Chelsea's Victor Moses, who was at the DW Stadium for two and a half years.

Andy Holden, who was part of former manager David Moyes' backroom staff, has left the club.

This is the problem, there is no winning mentality at the Emirates - we're all congratulating ourselves beating a team that we have a winning record against.

I

s this meant to be an aspiration for United supporters? Moyes mediocrity strikes again. I see the Bayern boys don't want to sign for him, and his reputation amongst the senior European coaches make other key signings unlikely.

'Tactically Inept And Lacking In Belief And Style'

It's fair to say that the 'Moyes Out' brigade is understandably out in force, whilst there are also staunch defences of Mourinho and Arteta. Plus, Liverpool fans can almost taste it.

That's Why We Didn't Want Jose At United

There is plenty of reaction to Mourinho's antics (Isn't that exactly what he wanted?) plus thoughts on Connor Wickham, Fabio Borini, beach balls and Tim Sherwood...
