Rodallega: Expects to leave Wigan

Rodallega: Expects to leave Wigan

Hugo Rodallega claims to already be in discussions with other clubs, as he prepares to leave Wigan as a free agent in the summer.

The Colombian striker is in the final year of his contract at the DW Stadium and will see that agreement expire at the end of the season.

It was expected that Wigan would look to cash in on his services during the January transfer window, rather than risk losing him nothing.

No switch was pushed through, though, and Rodallega will see out the campaign with the Latics.

He is hoping to play a leading role in the club's Premier League survival bid, but has made it clear that he will be heading for pastures new in the not too distant future.

"It's sure that I won't play anymore for them after this season," Rodallega told The People.

"This will be my last three months with Wigan.

"I'm already talking with other teams, but I won't name them. I must respect Wigan.

"Wigan have received many offers for me, but they always said no.

"I want to leave Wigan with the team having avoided relegation.

"I would love that Wigan fans recognise my effort when I leave the club in May."

here has only been 3 players who made me hold my breath in dread when they picked the ball up anywhere near our penalty area...in their prime Scholes and Giggs... and always Drogba. Awesome player who on his day was the best striker in the world in my opinion.

remember him scoring a 25-yarder, either the season just gone or the one before, against Bolton at the Reebok. I've never seen a ball hit that hard before in my entire life. You could almost feel the shockwave from his foot contacting it 40 yards away in the stands. Didier Droga. You might not have loved him, but you just had to be in awe of him.

den Hazard, def. - 1) that girl in a club who makes eyes at you all night, who allows you to buy her a drink and walk her home arm in arm, who then gives you a suggestive kiss on her doorstep before declaring how tired she is and how she has to be up early the next day. 2) A cock tease.
