Derby County's npower Championship match with local rivals Nottingham Forest was postponed on safety grounds.
The match was due to kick off at 12.15pm but heavy snow left left roads and pavements around the ground dangerous, and the club called off the fixture after discussions with the match officials, police, the Football League and Forest.
Derby chief executive Tom Glick told the club's website: "The pitch is fine and inside the stadium is safe and dry. However, the roads throughout the city and county are unsafe.
"This is the biggest match of the year for our supporters and we wouldn't want anyone to miss it because they had difficulty getting to Pride Park Stadium.''
