Derby manager Nigel Clough will not take any risks with Theo Robinson, even though the striker is desperate to take on his former club this weekend.
Robinson, the Rams' top scorer, has been sidelined since suffering a calf injury in last month's goalless draw with Burnley.
He will be monitored in the run-up to Saturday's trip to Millwall, but with Callum Ball, Nathan Tyson, Ryan Noble and Steven Davies all available for selection again, Clough could play it safe.
"Theo's injury is taking time to settle," Clough told the Derby Telegraph.
"He tried to do some running at the end of last week but felt some discomfort.
"There is no reserve game this week and so we will have to wait to see when Theo starts training, if he does.
"Saturday's game is against his former club and so he will be keen to be involved but there is no point rushing him if we have got other strikers available."
