Norwich remain rooted to the bottom of the Coca-Cola Championship table after a 3-0 defeat by Plymouth at Home Park.
Goals from Lee Martin, Paul Connolly and David Norris handed Ian Holloway's Pilgrims their first win in four games - but left struggling Norwich without a victory in 12 outings.
New Canaries boss Glenn Roeder has once again inherited a team in crisis - and after his side came from behind to salvage an honourable 2-2 draw in the local derby with Ipswich, they lost 3-1 to runaway Championship leaders Watford in midweek.
The opening exchanges produced little in the way of goalmouth action, and Norwich full-back Jon Otsemobor's 18-yard drive - which flew over the bar in the fifth minute - was the only chance of note.
It was the home team who were the first to seriously test the opposition goalkeeper when Martin drilled in a long-distance effort which Canaries goalkeeper David Marshall could only parry into the path of striker Barry Hayles.
Thankfully for the Canaries, Hayles fired wide.
Martin was a constant menace to the Norwich defence, and his pinpoint cross picked out Sylvan Ebanks-Blake - whose header cleared the bar.
It was the impressive Martin who finally broke the deadlock in spectacular fashion in the 26th minute.
After the Canaries defence had failed to clear their lines convincingly, Martin pounced as he leapt acrobatically to unleash a fierce overhead kick which left Marshall helpless.
Plymouth were dominant throughout the first half, and the Canaries were lucky not to find themselves further behind when Hayles capitalised on a terrible back-pass before rounding Marshall - but his finish found the side-netting.
Plymouth added two goals in the space of four minutes following the re-start.
Martin turned provider with a right-wing cross met by Connolly, who headed home from six yards in the 46th minute.
It was 3-0 as midfielder Norris slotted home from the centre of the penalty area, after some good work from Ebanks-Blake had presented him with the unmissable chance in the 49th minute.
Moments later Darel Russell's 20-yard effort for Norwich cannoned back off the bar.
Plymouth could have added to their lead in the 52nd minute, but Ebanks-Blake somehow put his shot over from from four yards after Hayles had laid it on a plate.
Norwich striker Jamie Cureton almost grabbed a late consolation as he hit the post - but it was not to be as Plymouth ran out deserved winners.
