Pawl Brozek: Eyeing permanent move to Celtic

Pawel Brozek is hoping he can impress enough in his loan deal at Celtic to secure a permanent move to Parkhead.

The Polish striker completed a loan move from Trabzonspor at the end of the January transfer window, and is determined to make an impact.

The 28-year-old has found playing time limited in Turkey and is hoping to justify a potential £650,000 fee if Celtic want to make the deal permanent.

He told the Daily Record: "I am currently only on loan to Celtic and don't know what will happen after these few months.

"Celtic have a right of first refusal but no-one can guarantee me that I will benefit from it.

"Everything depends on me and I just have to play at a level that makes Celtic want to take me out of Trabzonspor."

Brozek has been training with the squad over the last week to regain full fitness and admits Celtic are working him hard.

He added: "I know the coach was an ardent proponent in bringing me to Celtic Park.

"I had a long conversation with him before my first training session and he made a positive impression on me.

"He told me he really counts on me but he is also looking for hard work on my part. And I must admit in the first session he meant those words."

here has only been 3 players who made me hold my breath in dread when they picked the ball up anywhere near our penalty area...in their prime Scholes and Giggs... and always Drogba. Awesome player who on his day was the best striker in the world in my opinion.

I

remember him scoring a 25-yarder, either the season just gone or the one before, against Bolton at the Reebok. I've never seen a ball hit that hard before in my entire life. You could almost feel the shockwave from his foot contacting it 40 yards away in the stands. Didier Droga. You might not have loved him, but you just had to be in awe of him.

den Hazard, def. - 1) that girl in a club who makes eyes at you all night, who allows you to buy her a drink and walk her home arm in arm, who then gives you a suggestive kiss on her doorstep before declaring how tired she is and how she has to be up early the next day. 2) A cock tease.
