Fulham v Manchester City
A shambles of a TV game this one and quite honestly I'd rather go dogging with Martina Navratilova than sit through this for 90 minutes. The fixture has produced goals a plenty in recent seasons (the teams shared 11 in two league games last term) but I smell a turgid stalemate so fill yer boots accordingly.
Betting: No Goalscorer at 9/1 (Sporting Bet)


Arsenal v Wigan
This season's Arsenal side should come with a government health warning for backers and I'm in no doubt plenty who went large on Chelsea to beat them last Sunday will have tried to recoup losses by smashing into them at 4/5 to beat Burnley in the Carling Cup in midweek. Bad times, to paraphrase fat, hairy-headed japester Justin Lee Collins. But fear not. For not only do I fancy them to turn Wigan over at the Emirates this Saturday I am also confident they'll do the Latics 3-0 and urge disgruntled punters across the land to have faith in Monsieur Wenger's young guns one more time. And while you're at it, could you also join the 'Justin Lee Collins is less funny than knacker cancer' group that I'm about to set up on Facebook? You know it makes sense.
Betting: Arsenal to beat Wigan 3-0 at 8/1 (Blue Square).


Blackburn v Liverpool
Liverpool missed a trick by failing to beat West Ham in the week but quite honestly I don't see what everyone is p**sing their shorts about. The Reds are top of the Premiership with Christmas approaching and after five clean sheets in six matches they remain one of the toughest nuts to crack domestically. I reckon they are stick-ons to run right over Rovers here and I don't mind admitting the 17/10 quote about them winning to nil gave me a semi-erection when I saw it.
Betting: Liverpool to win to nil at 17/10 (Paddy Power).


Bolton v Chelsea
Big Phil Scolari was absolutely seething after Arsenal's 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge last Sunday. In fact I have not seen a moustachio'd man in such an agitated state since Basil Fawlty gave that red Austin 1100 what for with a tree branch back in the day. The Blues may be faltering at HQ but they are a different animal on the road, where Nicolas Anelka has been particularly effective. 'Le Sulk' froze against the Gunners at the Bridge but he has still bagged nine in his last eight and so is surely worth a dabble here to get among the goals. Chelsea have also won their last five Premiership matches at the Reebok without conceding a goal and so the 13/10 might also be worth a play.
Betting: Anelka to score anytime at 11/10 (Stan James).


Hull v Middlesbrough
I fancy the first ever Premiership meeting between these two to produce a few goals and despite keeping it clean against the Geordies last weekend, I'm still not totally convinced about Ross Turnbull in the Boro goal. Put simply I've seen better hands on a leper so am going to have a few quid on the Tigers being the last team to score in this one.
Betting: Hull to score last at 10/11 (bet365).


Newcastle v Stoke
Reports of Newcastle's footballing renaissance under Joe 'You're a c*nt' Kinnear have been greatly exaggerated. The Mags are fourth from bottom and while they probably are harder to beat than they were a few months ago, they are still playing some dire stuff right now. I can't see this one being pretty and am willing to get stuck into the 5/2 about there being less than two goals.
Betting: Less than 1.5 Goals at 5/2 (Sporting Bet).


Manchester United v Sunderland
Roy Keane has left Sunderland after crisis talks on Wearside. Results didn't help but neither did him turning up for the Bolton game last week looking like a homeless. Indeed when the final whistle went I was half expecting Keano to break out a bottle of QC Sherry and urinate by a dug out before bedding down for the night. Sometimes a departure of this nature can galvanize a side and while I still don't give the Black Cats a prayer at OT I reckon they might scrap for all their worth before being undone by a late, possibly controversial, goal.
Betting: Manchester United to beat Sunderland 1-0 at 15/2 (Skybet).
